Continuing on with part 2 of my favorite spring looks, I'll start off with a lovely look I wore during a photoshoot with one of my good Japanese friends. We shot in Soho and found a few floral spots to fit with my maxi form fitting coral dress and Kate Spade sunnies.
One piece that I cannot get enough of lately is off-shoulder tops. Bought way more than I need and it's currently flooding here in the city 😭😭😭. Off shoulder tops, especially oversized ones 💖, pair well with some distressed denim and heels like these from Valentino
Last spring, I also got a chance to explore LIC more than I've ever done, and paired a denim jacket with some reflective sunnies and a gray maxi form fitting dress.
Another one of my fave shoots to date was with the talented Jaime, who simply slays when it comes to tones in his photos (his IG handle: theamazingknight). We shot these from a rooftop in Chinatown. Yes, this is New York.
Welcome to Es Palette
Thank you to all of my followers and readers for your patience; I've been getting confused emails about where my site has gone but I've spent the past few weeks preparing for an all-around revamp of my blog. Previously known as Refinedaze, my blog has now switched platforms and although we're already approaching mid-year soon, I'm starting off anew with Es Palette, which will extend beyond fashion and street style into more lifestyle and travel related adventures as well. School and work have been absolutely insane and I rarely have time for myself lately but I'm taking time this week to launch the new site before I upload more of my recent projects, which I'm already way behind in posting 😭😂😣.
That aside, I'll be starting off posting some of my favorite spring looks from when I first started blogging almost a year ago, as it might (hopefully) get warmer here in the city soon. The first look shown above is suitable for work as I often pair a blazer with a midi dress.
The second is from probably one of my favorite photoshoots to date with talented photographer Mark Kim. We shoot downtown in Greenwich Village where you'll find a perfect wall for minimal, clean shots. I paired a leather jacket with a black crop top with a striped pencil skirt and my fave strap heels. You'll find me decked in noir et blanc at least 5 days out of the week 💭
